Institutional Accreditation

ACAO — Accredited CX Advisory Organization

The ACAO designation recognizes consulting firms and advisory organizations authorized to support implementation, operational alignment, and readiness preparation under the CX Standard framework.

ACAO accreditation recognizes operational capability and governance compliance — not certification authority. Accredited organizations operate under Institute governance requirements and are subject to periodic review.

Minimum accreditation requirements
At least one active Certified CX Auditor (CCXA) within the operational structure
Compliance with the CX Standard Code of Conduct
Demonstrated operational capability in CX implementation and advisory services
Compliance with Institute governance, trademark, and representation policies
Periodic accreditation review as defined by the CX Standard International Body
ACAO organizations are subject to conflict-of-interest rules. Organizations involved in implementation for a certification candidate may not independently certify the same organization.
Organizational Certification

CXSC — CX Standard Certified Organization

Organizations can obtain certification through independent evaluation under the CX Standard framework. Certification is granted across three levels based on evaluation score, Critical Indicators approval, and evidence compliance requirements.

No organization can be certified without an independent audit conducted by a Certified CX Auditor (CCXA) with active accreditation.

80–89
Complete compliance across all seven pillars. All Critical Indicators approved. Complete Evidence Package.
CXSC Advanced
90–94
Includes all CXSC Standard requirements, plus documented evidence of continuous improvement activities.
CXSC Excellence
95–100
Includes all CXSC Advanced requirements, plus operational internal training structure and metrics integrated into decision-making.
Certification Integrity

Formal evaluation. Periodic renewal.

All certifications under the CX Standard framework require formal evaluation and periodic renewal. Professional and organizational certifications may be suspended or revoked if certification requirements, ethical standards, or evaluation criteria are no longer maintained.
