About the CCXS

The Certified CX Shopper (CCXS) is the entry-level certification in the CX Standard professional ecosystem. It certifies individuals who have been trained to conduct mystery shopping evaluations under the criteria, protocols, and rubrics of CX Standard.

CCXS-certified evaluators are the frontline of the CX Standard audit process. Every operational layer evaluation — the most difficult evidence to falsify — is conducted by CCXS evaluators operating under the direction of a Certified CX Auditor.

Who It Is For

  • Individuals interested in becoming certified customer experience evaluators
  • Mystery shoppers seeking internationally recognized credentials
  • Quality assurance professionals entering the CX evaluation field
  • Anyone who wants to participate in the CX Standard audit ecosystem

What It Covers

  • CX Standard Core Framework: the seven pillars and their evaluation criteria
  • Scenario Scripts: how to design and execute mystery shopping visits
  • Observation rubrics: how to score interactions against defined indicators
  • Evaluation ethics: independence requirements and conflict of interest rules
  • Report writing: how to document findings with evidence

Requirements

  • Completion of the CCXS online certification program
  • Practical evaluation: at least 3 supervised visits approved by a CCXA Senior
  • Passing score on the CCXS assessment

Role in the Audit Process

CCXS evaluators execute the Operational Layer of every certification audit — real interactions with real customers under real operating conditions. They report to a Certified CX Auditor (CCXA) who is responsible for the overall audit design and final report.
